2,5h speed,

um sorry folks i am really lame at giving these quick speeds an appropriate description. Hopefully it will instead give you a personal interpretation on what's going on in the painting. I usually don't like to tell a story in the description because i want the painting to do that for me.

anyways, enjoy

no need of a name .
You can call it "painting 123 ", and it will be a very impressive painting anyway.
even seeing the quick brushes marks , it is still a very realistic image .
did you used too many real photos on the composition ?
what about ref images ?

that's kind of awesome =D i mean, yeah, it does tell stories and such but not really without the title. the title is kind of a hint to the thought i think and paintings/artwork where the titles are obvious are, well, not really artworks at all but illustrations instead.

the technique you're using for water now is very nice really =)

FUCK- pardon my French - It looks like a photograph! If you enlarge it you can see the details a lot better than you can recognize it as a painting

Why do you do this to me?
It always makes me want to paint, but mine always come out "meh" and yours are amazing.

Unfair!

Release a brush pack? Or at least a description of the function of your brushes? Perhaps in your descriptions you could describe the brushes you used and how? Or how you went about painting each work?

This one is really, really amazing.
Tell me : for the texture of the water on the middle left side, did you used some filters or tweaked with levels? (I know I did something like that when I texturized a planet in a space art, but I don't remember what was exactly the method. it's just it reminds me that)

Is it allright if I use this picture (and maybe an other painting from you gallary) as a background on my msn?
I won't claim it as my own (of course not) and I won't do anything weird with it.

Excellent! The subtle bits of green on the rocks go a long ways in adding realism to a rough speedpaint. Of course, the fern standing in the middle helps, too :)

Your combination of colors also do an excellent job at; I suppose the mixture of colors from the original photo help to ensure that none of the surfaces maintain a uniform mix of colors, which would reduce its realism.

However, I have to ask: what kind of brushes/textures do you use?

That really is amazing and definitely has a natural flowing movement of the water! It's blended so well that it looks like a photo from a foot or so away. Great details in this and lol @ 2.5 hours...I don't know how you do it! Superb piece...now let's jump in for a little swim. :)

damn, those textures are really unique. :)
your recent stuff really fools the eye back and forth - you see its painting, but at certain spots, you see something that looks so photographic that you momentarily disbelieve the whole painting thing.

well its because i use a photo to start with, if you look at this example here it should explain why some photographic parts remain:

jup, im aware of that - i have seen some of your videos.
what i mean is something since that recent winter piece. i dont know exactly what it is, but my guess is the combination of some of the textures/brush shapes plus that you used them at a rather high contrast - like in the winter piece, the silk road piece and this one.
